The NNN believes that regardless of your financial situation before diagnosis, the cost of having a rare medical condition creates a financial burden no one should bear alone. Since the first conference 20 years ago, the NNN provided Financial Hardship Grants. The value of connecting with medical experts and others living with Neutropenia should be available to all.

Financial Hardship Grants are available who need assistance beyond the $50 per person hardship discount. Thanks to X4 Pharmaceuticals, we are able to continue our commitment to providing financial hardship grants. The NNN will support as many applicants as possible.

Hardship grants cover portions of expense to offset the costs of attending: registration fees and/or hotel costs. We do not provide monetary stipends to cover expenses such as gas, mileage reimbursement or airfare.

Selections are made on the basis of financial need, medical need, past attendance and availability of funds. You do not have to leverage the personal fundraiser to be eligible for a hardship grant. Leveraging the personal fundraiser option does not preclude you from a hardship grant. Both are encouraged.
