The Senior Ambassador Program members act as a liaison between the NNN and the community at large by serving as advocates to raise awareness of neutropenia, provide general education of the disease process, and raise funds to support research and support.
Roles & Responsibilities
Senior Ambassadors connect with families affected by neutropenia to provide support and education and share personal stories. They also raise awareness, and organize fundraising events to support neutropenia research and peer support initiatives. Additionally, Senior Ambassadors will help plan online seminars on neutropenia topics, volunteer for peer support, and contribute to the planning and execution of relevant conferences.
Who is eligible?
College age and older individuals who have a personal connection with the diagnosis and awareness of Neutropenia. We welcome former Junior Ambassadors to apply. NNN Board Members are not eligible to apply.
How do I get involved?
The Senior Ambassador program is a one year term (September 1-August 31 of the following year). These terms are renewable with continued qualifying activities and re-submission/application. There are no limit to the number of Senior Ambassadors per any given term, however, Senior Ambassadors will only be added at the beginning of each new term. Applications will open for the next term on July 1, 2025 and the deadline is August 31, 2025.
Current Senior Ambassadors
We greatly appreciate these Senior Ambassadors for giving their time, talent and experience to help engage their communities and to shine a light on Neutropenia. We can’t wait to see all that they do this year.
